
Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane announces that Tenitia R. Cullum, 33, of Rochester, pleaded guilty this morning before Erie County Court Judge James Bargnesi to one count of Attempted Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “D” violent felony).
On Saturday, March 23, 2024, at approximately 7:10 p.m., security officers and members of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office found an illegal, loaded handgun inside of a diaper bag at the KeyBank Center in the City of Buffalo. The illegal weapon was discovered after the defendant placed the bag through the x-ray scanner ahead of the entrance to a circus event at the arena.
Today, Cullum was placed on one year of interim probation pending sentence. She is scheduled to return to be sentenced on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Richard K. Barney, III, of the Felony Trials Bureau.
