SENECA NATION — Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reports that the Erie County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Unit (CUI) is currently investigating a fatal car accident which occurred on the Seneca Nation.
On April 15, a vehicle operated by Christopher M. Nicholson St., 47, of Gowanda, was traveling southbound on Versailles Plan Road, when it left the roadway and proceeded into a wooded are. Nicholson Sr. and his dog were declared deceased on scene by emergency medical personnel.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office CIU investigation into this matter is ongoing.
