The Niagara Falls Americans will return to Sal Maglie Stadium for their second season with a new Manager for the franchise in 2025. The Americans will welcome John Rogowski, Lancaster Native as their new Manager & Head Coach this year. Niagara Falls Americans were born in 2024 and finished their inaugural year 1 win shy of a playoff berth.
Rogowski is in his first-year coaching with the NF Americans following his 6-year playing career. He played outfield at SUNY Niagara and D’Youville University. Rogowski was a steady contributor for the Saints throughout his time with the club. In his junior year he finished the season with an .398 OBP, .429 SLG, .827 OPS, and single season HR record at the time (5). He works as a Data Stringer for MLB at Sahlen’s Field for Bisons home games during the summers. During his time working with the Bisons in 2023 he was able to connect with players and coaches to further develop his understanding of the mental side of the game and greatly attributes that to his success. He also works at Hot Corner Athletics developing players in all facets of the game. His love for the game has even taken him past his playing career.
CAN-USA Sports is pleased to announced that SUNY Niagara Thunderwolves Baseball Team and D’Youville University Saints Baseball Team will start their 2025 baseball seasons at Sal Maglie Stadium. Sal Maglie will also be home to various High School Games & Area Tournaments as well. Starting March 2025 Collegiate Baseball will be back in Niagara Falls. “Last season we were able to have Sal Maglie Stadium used from March through November and had a good first season with the Americans as well. We are excited to team up with the D’Youville University & SUNY Niagara again” – Robbie Nichols, Owner
Last season the Americans stayed in the playoff race until the final 2 games of season falling just short of the #4 seed. If you have not bought season tickets, make sure to get them online at www.niagarafallsamericans.com. Season tickets start at just $99.
