The Buffalo Police Department has announced an arrest was made Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2024 in connection with a shooting that took place Sunday, Jan. 19 on the 1200 Block of Clinton Street.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., a district officer responded to a shooting call inside of a bar on Clinton Street. Upon arrival, officers identified a scene without a victim. While on scene, officers were alerted that a gun shot victim had arrived at ECMC in a private vehicle.
Gun Violence Unit detectives immediately began an investigation and a suspect was identified. On Wednesday, C district officers apprehended the suspect on Hughes Street without incident.
Stanford Gray, 30, of Buffalo has been charged with one count of NYS PL 120.10-1, Assault in the First Degree, a class B felony; one count NYS PL 265.03-3, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a class C felony; and one count NYS PL 120.25, Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree, a class D felony.
