Early voting concluded Sunday in New York State and Niagara County reports a record number of voters casting their ballots over the nine-day period. Nearly 33,000 voters cast their ballot at the five early voting sites across the county, an increase of more than 12,000 from the last Presidential election in 2020. The 32,996 votes represent 21 percent of all registered voters in Niagara County.
Erie County has not published their vote totals for Saturday and Sunday but as of Friday, the early voting total up to 117,738 in Western New York’s largest county.
For Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, voters will cast ballots at their regular polling location. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. If you are unsure of you polling site, you can check it here: https://voterlookup.elections.ny.gov/
