The Niagara Falls Americans took a 3-1 lead over the Newark Pilots in the third inning in today’s game at Sal Maglie Field, holding on to that lead to win 3-2.
The Americans travel to Newark — about 35 miles southeast of Rochester in Wayne County — to complete the home-and-home series with the Pilots, hoping to build on today’s victory.
