NORTH COLLINS – Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reports the arrest of 42-year- old, Eric Damrath of North Collins and 41-year-old, Bonny Keem of North Collins, following a narcotics investigation.
On May, 30th, 2024, at approximately 12:30 pm, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Intelligence Unit executed a NYS search warrant on Sherman Avenue, Village of North Collins. Both Damrath and Keem were located inside the residence and detained without incident.
During the search, Damrath tried to eat multiple Clonazepam pills in an attempt to destroy evidence.
Damrath was charged with the following:
- Conceal/Alter/Destroy Physical Evidence – Class E Felony;
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree – Class A Misdemeanor;
- Controlled Substance in Non-Original Container – Violation
Keem was charged with the following:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree – Class A Misdemeanor.
- Both subjects were released on Desk Appearance Tickets.
