On 5/15/24 at 1:45pm Lewiston Police received a call regarding a burglary that occurred overnight on Hyde Park Blvd. Investigation led officers to a hotel in Niagara Falls, where with the assistance of New York State Police and Niagara Falls PD, two suspects were taken into custody.
Anthony Scarfone, 38 years old from Lewiston, and Scott Dingwall 49 years old also of Lewiston, have been charged with Burglary 2nd, Grand Larceny 4th, and 2 counts of Petit Larceny. A large quantity of suspected fentanyl was also recovered, and charged are pending lab results.
Both suspects will be held at the Niagara County Jail pending arraignment.
