
BUFFALO — Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reports the arrest of 29-year-old, Xenofontas Raptis, of Lancaster, following an investigation into suspected prison contraband.
On May 10th, at approximately 6:30 pm, following an investigation by the ECSO Narcotics and Intelligence Unit, Raptis, an Incarcerated Individual was found in possession of a glass pipe with suspected cocaine residue and a plastic baggie containing suspected crack cocaine, concealed on his person. Raptis remained in custody and was charged with the following:
- Introduction of Dangerous Contraband into a Prison – 1st Degree – Class D Felony;
- Concealing/Altering/Destroying Physical Evidence – Class E Felony; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance – 7th Degree – Class A Misdemeanor.
Raptis remained in custody at the ECHC pending his arraignment on the listed charges in Buffalo City Court.
