LOCKPORT — On Monday, May 13, 2024 at 2056 hours, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Communication Center received a call reporting an injury motor vehicle accident in front of 6272 Old Beattie Road involving a pedestrian.
Preliminary investigation showed a bicyclist was riding in a southbound direction on the northbound side of Old Beattie Road. A Nissan Rogue traveling northbound on Old Beattie Road struck the bicyclist. The bicyclist was flown to ECMC by Mercy Flight with possible life threatening injuries.
The names of the involved parties are not being released at this time. The investigation into the accident is being continued by the Niagara County Accident Investigation Unit.
