For decades, the Marlboro Inn operated on Ward Road in Sanborn, shuttering in 2014 after a fire. In the 10 years since, the former Marlboro Inn was transformed into G-Mac’s Inn and Tecla Rustic Bistro & Bar. As of today, it is again the Marlboro — but this time the Marlboro Kitchen & Bar.
With a 3 p.m. opening scheduled, the Marlboro Kitchen & Bar will offer an extensive food and drink menu — both available on their Facebook page — and five-day-a-week operation.

The restaurant was purchased last year by Steven Calvaneso and Austin Saccia of Calvaneso’s Ultimate Restaurant Group, who also own The Rock Kitchen and Bar in East Amherst; Libation Station, Blue Bull Tavern and Bogie’s Bar in Amherst; and Exquisite Catering out of Asbury Hall in Buffalo.
