Buffalo’s AKG museum will offer four days of interactive art events and activities for all ages, completely free of charge for residents of Erie County.

“This fun-filled break will end with the solar eclipse that can be seen from the Great Lawn. As our first Play Break, we are eager for our community to attend and share feedback,” according to the museum. “Registration is not required.”

Thursday and Friday, Starlight Studio artist and master LEGO builder Chace Lobley will build a surprise LEGO sculpture in Wilson Town Square. At the same time (and continuing Saturday and Sunday), visitors will be invited to “build the spaceship of your dreams” out of LEGO in the Creative Commons.

In terms of entertainment, Thursday night offers a live performance by Saranaide. Friday offers a silent disco in Wilson Town Square and music on the Sculpture Terrace with a performance by Mike Prince.
