The following overnight shelters will be OPEN tonight:
- 586 Genesee St, Buffalo, 14204 – accessible location, open 8pm-7am (This location was formerly a women’s shelter but will be open to all for Code Blue.)
- Salvation Army, 960 Main St, Buffalo, 14202 – accessible location, open 7:30pm-8am
Daytime Warming Centers:
- 03/11/24 – Daytime Warming is OPEN at 586 Genesee St, Buffalo 14204
Code Blue Clients will be permitted at the NFTA METRO Transportation Center from 5:30pm-7:30pm to obtain bus tickets to the Code Blue Shelter They will not be allowed to wait at the NFTA outside of those hours.

Calling a Code Blue is determined daily and communicated by 211. Call 211 to find out if Code Blue is in effect or text CodeBlueBuffalo to 898-211 to sign up for alerts.
Code Blue officially runs from 8pm to 8am with daytime warming center open from 8am-8pm when the temperature and/or windchill is below 32 degrees from November 15 to April 30.
