On February 10, 2024, at 2:50 P.M., the Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Fredonia responded to Brooks Memorial Hospital for a 20-year-old male with multiple gun shot wounds. The victim was transported to Erie County Medical Center and is in guarded condition. The NYSP Forensic Identification Unit assisted in this ongoing investigation which occurred in the town of Dunkirk.
