NIAGARA FALLS — The All WNY bowling team lost big Tuesday night to team Hebelers in the Sanborn Businessmen’s bowling league at Rapids Bowling Center.
On the Hebelers team, Shaun Wegener rolled a 182-1175-193 for a 550. Justin Sarratori bowled a 234-245-201 for a 680 series. Slivio Derubis rolled a 219-249-233 for a 701 series. And Dave Gubala bowled a 163-148-189 for a 500 series. With handicap, the team had a 926-945-944 for a 2815 team series.
On the All WNY side, Tyler Mondoux shot a 210-202-191 for a 603 series. Anthony Berak bowled a 76-80-121 for a 277 series. Scott Leffler rolled a 124-101-121 for a 346 series. And KJ Jackson — filling in for Team Captain Andrew McGrath — bowled a 204-196-152 for a 552 series. With handicap, the team scored 879-844-850 for a 2573 series.
All WNY was in seventh place with 61 points in the 10-team league coming into the night. A second week in a row with zero points certainly won’t help them in the standings.
They’ll be back on the lanes on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
All WNY is made possible thanks to coffee and sleep deprivation.
