The Tops Friendly Markets on Meadow Drive was evacuated this evening after a threat was phone in to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a post on the North Tonawanda Police Department’s Facebook page, “the male used a voice disguiser on the call, and the number could not be immediately traced.”
Police responded, cleared the building, and “found no credible threat present,” according to NTPD.
Employees and customers were escorted to their vehicles after the threat was dispelled. This is an ongoing investigation.
