Glenn Benton & company shockingly put out a new song today December 25th putting down Christianity. Have we heard that before? I’m not sure, might need to look it up. The downpicking legacy band dropped a single today “Bury Your Cross With Your Christ”, possibly in connection with an upcoming new album. Admittedly I’m not the biggest fan outside of the first couple albums but gave the previous release a shot and enjoyed it oddly enough. After all these years, Mr. Benton is still riding the same theme and generating buzz in the death metal world with his love for Christianity. I can’t rip on on the man for sticking to his guns with his band’s theme all these decades later. I think they really nailed this one. After “Overtures Of Blasphemy” from 2018 I enjoyed this new song and am intrigued to check out their upcoming effort. You can check out the music video below which is quite the watch.
