LOCKPORT — Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that an indictment was unsealed in Niagara County Court this morning charging Matthew Glass, 24 years old, of Atlanta, Georgia, with the shooting death of Robert Miller on October 2, 2023 in the City of Niagara Falls, NY.
Glass is charged with one count of Murder in the Second Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree and Tampering with a Witness in the Third Degree.
The indictment is the culmination of an investigation by the Niagara Falls Police Department.
The defendant appeared in County Court where he was arraigned by County Court Judge John J. Ottaviano. Ottaviano remanded the defendant to Niagara County Jail without the possibility of bail. A further court date was scheduled for December 14th.
A charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty
