RANSOMVILLE – On November 29th, 2023 at 15:21 Hours, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a call reporting a house fire at 999 Balmer Road Lot C16.
Niagara County Sheriff’s Deputies and Lewiston Police responded and confirmed the residence was on fire. Following the evacuation of the residents, the fire was subsequently extinguished by members of the Youngstown, Ransomville, and Lewiston #1 Fire Companies.
The residence sustained moderate fire and smoke damage. No injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire is being conducted by the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit.
