NIAGARA FALLS — The All WNY Bowling Team had a 65-pin overall lead in the series after winning the first two games against Z-Nation Tuesday night in the Sanborn Businessmen’s Bowling League at Rapids Bowling Center. Z-Nation won the third game by 71 pins, giving them a six point series advantage and three points on the night.
On the Z-Nation team, Frank Fabiano rolled a 162-148-157for a 468. Randy Zimmerman bowled a 161-161-165 for a 487 series. Joe Zimmerman rolled a 142 and a 235 before totally getting into the zone and rolling a third-game 267 for a 644 series. And Jerry Piper Jr. bowled a 212-188-169 for a 569 series. With handicap, the team had a 853-909-934 for a 2696 team series.
On the All WNY side, Tyler Mondoux shot a 187-236-213 for a 636 series. Anthony Berak bowled a 112-135-106 for a 353 series. Scott Leffler rolled a 109-102-135 for a 346 series. Team Captain Drew McGrath rolled a 180-224-138 for a 542 series. With handicap, the team had a 859-968-863 for a 2690 series.
Each game in the league is worth two points in the standings, while the overall team series is worth one additional point, giving Team All WNY four points on the night and Z-Nation three points.
Coming into the night, All WNY was sixth in the 10-team league, one point behind Z-Nation. Next week, they’ll be tied.
