On October 23, 2023, SP Machias Troopers arrested Bianca M. Johnson, 37, of Amherst, NY for being a fugitive from justice.
During a traffic stop in the town of Ashford, Troopers determined Johnson had an outstanding warrant for felony shoplifting issued in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
Johnson was arrested and arraigned in Machias Town Court, where she was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail to be held without bail while awaiting extradition.
