TOWN OF LOCKPORT — On October 28th, 2023 at 15:45 Hours, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a call reporting a garage on fire at 6176 Ridge Road in the Town of Lockport.
Niagara County Sheriff’s Deputies along with New York State Troopers responded and confirmed the unattached garage structure was fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was subsequently extinguished by members of the Wright’s Corners, Miller Hose, South Wilson, Middleport and Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station Fire Companies who also responded to the scene. The single story, multiple bay garage was considered a complete loss. A passenger vehicle and traveler trailer that had been parked near the structure were also damaged by the radiant heat. No injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire by the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit is underway.
