On October 19, 2023, Sheriff Filicetti announced the arrest of Derek M. Ficarra, 51 of Lockport, NY. Following an investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force, a warrant was issued and Ficarra was arrested on one count of criminal possession of a controlled Substance 3rd.
Ficarra was held in Niagara County Jail pending arraignment.
