LOCKPORT — The City of Lockport is holding a contest for city residents to see who can build the best scarecrow.
According to the rules, scarecrows must be built by Saturday with voting to take place from Sunday through Oct. 27. Winners will be announced on Oct. 29.
The contest has four categories: scariest, most creative, kid built, and overall best. Each scarecrow will only be eligible to win one category.
