New York State Police have released the name of a suspect in Monday night’s shooting in the Wendy’s parking lot in the Town of Lockport.
According to NYSP, at approximately 7:40 P.M., Troopers out of SP Lockport responded to a possible shooting at Wendy’s on South Transit Road in the town of Lockport. Preliminary investigation revealed that a group of individuals were in the parking lot and 25-year-old Jerry Torres Jr. of Lockport brandished a weapon then shot a 24-year-old.
Police say Torres fled the scene, while the victim was taken by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries to Erie County Medical Center. The weapon has been located, according to NYSP.
Police are asking anyone with information about Torres Jr., to contact them at 585-344-6200.
