On Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 11:59pm, Troopers out of SP Fredonia arrested Torin J. Obrien, 31, of Fredonia, NY for Driving While Intoxicated.
Troopers investigating a one-car accident on State Route 60 in the town of Pomfret, observed OBrien, exhibiting signs of impairment, including the failure of standardized field sobriety tests. He was arrested and transported to SP Fredonia where he refused to submit to a chemical breath test.
OBrien was released with an appearance ticket for Pomfret Town Court, where he is due to appear in September 2023.
