On August 23, 2023 at 04:45pm, Troopers out of SP Fredonia arrested Stuart L Elijah, 33, of Perrysburg, NY for the following charges: Aggravated Criminal Contempt, a class D felony and Assault 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor after a domestic-related incident with his girlfriend at the Taco Bell in the town of Dunkirk.
Troopers responded to a 911 call about a physical domestic incident taking place at the Taco Bell located on Bennett Road. in the town of Dunkirk. Troopers had EMS respond to the scene for a head laceration suffered by the female party and she was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for treatment. Elijah was placed into custody and transported to SP Fredonia for processing.
Further investigation revealed an active ‘refrain from’ Order of Protection was in place and that Elijah’s girlfriend was the protected party. Elijah also had an active bench warrant with the Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office.
Elijah was charged with Aggravated Criminal Contempt, a class D felony and Assault 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor. He was processed and fingerprinted at SP Fredonia before being transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
