On August 16, 2023, Sheriff Filicetti announced the arrest of Shelmoje Wraakwon Allen, 23 of Lockport, NY. Following an investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force, Howard was arrested and has been indicted on the following charges:
- Criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell 3rd
- Criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd
- Criminal Use of drug paraphernalia
- Allen was held in Niagara County Jail pending arraignment.
