The Niagara County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) office located at 111 Main Street in Lockport will be closing at 2 p.m., tomorrow, August 16, according to Niagara County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski. The early closure is necessary so that technicians from Spectrum can address several computer connectivity issues. The North Tonawanda and Niagara Falls DMV offices are not affected by the connectivity issues and will remain open.

Those with appointments have been contacted by the DMV to reschedule. The DMV is expected to reopen with normal business hours on Thursday, August 16.
