The lavender harvest is in! The hot temperatures of spring and early summer helped to grow a bumper crop of lavender this year and now it has been harvested and is for sale at the Made for Good shop. Many different lavender products are for sale including bundles of lavender, sachets, and room/linen spray; other lavender items like watercolor paintings of pots of lavender and amethyst bracelets are also available. Lavender Fest takes place throughout the month of August.

The smell of lavender has been shown to be beneficial to our health. It is known for its ability to calm the nervous sys tem, lift the mood and even lower blood pressure; it is also a natural and economic way to help freshen the air. Many air fresheners readily available on the market contain chemicals like formaldehyde that can be harmful to people and ani mals. The lavender room spray at the Made for Good shop contains just three ingredients, 100% natural lavender oil, isopropyl alcohol, distilled water. This spray comes in an attractive cobalt blue bottle with a fine spray mister, making it perfect for spraying in the air or on bed linens to help aid in a good nights sleep.

“We’re delighted to have these special lavender gifts for sale here at the Made for Good shop! Our lavender has been grown right here and we think it’s wonderfully fresh, fragrant and lovely!” said KVIS President, Melissa Foster.
