On June 25, 2023 at 2:37AM, Troopers out of SP Albion responded to a one car motor vehicle accident on West Countyhouse Rd. in the Town of Albion.
Preliminary investigation shows that a 2009 Lincoln Navigator was traveling eastbound when it left the north shoulder of the road causing the vehicle to roll over multiple times before coming to rest. A passenger in the vehicle, Gabriel J. Casanova, 19 of Medina, NY was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three additional occupants of the vehicle were treated for non-life threatening injuries at Strong Memorial Hospital and released. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
