On June 15, 2023, Troopers out of SP Amity arrested David T. Truax, 49 of Andover, NY for Criminal Contempt 1st degree, Criminal Mischief 4th degree and Harassment 2nd degree.
On June 15, 2023 at 10:48 P.M., Troopers out of SP Amity responded to a domestic dispute on Grove Street in the village of Andover. Investigation determined that Truax caused minor injury to the victim and damaged property during a domestic dispute. Truax was in violation of a current refrain from order of protection stemming from an arrest in March 2023.
Truax was arrested and arraigned in Town of Friendship Court and released with a return date of June 26, 2023.
