WHEATFIELD — On May 31st, 2023 at 20:17 Hours, passing Sheriff’s Patrols spotted an outbuilding on fire at Voss Manufacturing located at 2345 Lockport Road in the Town of Wheatfield.
The on scene Deputies requested Fire Department support, and then proceeded to use fire extinguishers to knock down the fire. The fire was subsequently extinguished by members of the Bergholz Volunteer Fire and Sanborn Volunteer Fire Companies who also responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire by the Niagara County Origin and Cause Team is underway.
