On May 27, 2023, Troopers arrested Timothy L. Weigel, 38 of Lancaster, NY for driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test and possession of a controlled substance not in its original container.
On May 27, 2023, Troopers were conducting a DWI sobriety checkpoint on transit Rd in the town of Elma. Weigel was placed under arrest after failing SFST’s and transported to SP Elma for processing. Weigel refused to submit to a breath test.
Weigel was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Elma for June 29, 2023.
