The Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry has announced that two local breweries will be pouring Pints in the Park again in 2023 as 42 North Brewing Company and Resurgence Brewing Co. will be presenting their finest ales and lagers at five county parks in scheduled events throughout the summer. Beer enthusiasts will be able to enjoy their favorite pint in the great outdoors at Chestnut Ridge Park, Como Lake Park, Ellicott Creek Park, Sprague Brook Park, Emery Park and Wendt Beach on various Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer. Pints in the Park kicks off on Friday June 2 at Chestnut Ridge Park and concludes there on Saturday, August 19.
“Pints in the Park was a big success last year and we welcome these two local brewers back for an expanded schedule and more fun this year,” said Commissioner of Parks, Recreation & Forestry Troy P. Schinzel. “While this is a great way to enjoy some time in the park, we encourage everyone thinking of attending to please check the weather forecast before coming out, as these events will be held weather-permitting.”
“With our summer event schedule, the goal is to get people out to experience the great outdoors. Western New York is blessed with an abundance of great parks and we are thrilled to partner with Erie County Parks on this series of events,” said John Cimperman, 42 North’s Founder.
Resurgence Brewing Company Supervisor Cory Backlas added, “We are excited to be back for another year supporting the Erie County Parks! Some old favorites and a new venture will be in store! Don’t miss your favorite brewery at your favorite park! Cheers!”
