On May 8, 2023, Troopers out of SP Grand Island arrested Dominic A. Miranda, 28 of Amherst, NY for operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs.
On May 8, 2023, Troopers were conducting a property check at 80 Oakridge Rd in Grand Island when they observed a vehicle parked and running unoccupied. Miranda approached the Troopers and stated that was his vehicle that he drove to this location to retrieve a dog. While interviewing Miranda the odor of marijuana was present. Miranda was placed under arrest after failing SFST’S. Miranda submitted to a blood test and was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital for the blood draw and then, transported to SP Grand Island for processing.
Miranda was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Grand Island court for May 31, 2023.
