On April 4, 2023, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Sheldon M. Armitage, 60 of East Amherst for driving while intoxicated, under the influence of drugs and unsafe lane change.
On April 4, 2023, Troopers observed Armitage crossing in and out of the lane while traveling west bound on Main Street in Clarence, NY. Troopers initiated a traffic stop. Armitage was placed under arrest after failing SFST’s and transported to SP Clarence for processing. Armitage refused to provide a breath or blood sample.
Armitage was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Clarence court for May 25, 2023.
