On April 23, 2023, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Jeffrey G. Murphy., 45, of Perry, NY, for Driving While Intoxicated.
During a traffic stop on Lagrange Road in the town of Covington, Murphy was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Murphy had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. Murphy had failed standardized field sobriety tests. He was arrested, transported and processed at SP Warsaw, where he refused to submit a chemical test. Murphy was released with appearance tickets for the town of Covington court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
