The Niagara Falls City Market is looking to class things up this year, specifically asking for artisans and other vendors to join the three-times-a-week market on Pine Avenue.

The market, which has existed for well over 100 years has enjoyed many formats over those decades. Of late, it is primarily a produce market with just a handful of vendors on a regular basis.

According to the market’s website, the market is “building momentum, to bring that vibrance back to life and we are looking for more vendors to join us to help revitalize the vibrant City Market that it once was.” There are planned car shows, musical performances and appearances by local authors this year, as well as a handful of dates with extended hours.

An application is available online to vend for the year or season with day rates available, as well.
