On April 14, 2023, Troopers out of SP Clarence with the assistance of New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision arrested Tonja D. Lewis., 52, of Syracuse, NY, for Promoting Prison Contraband 1st.
Troopers arrested Tonja D. Lewis for having a cell phone on her person while inside the Wende Correctional Facility. Lewis was transported to SP Clarence for processing and arraigned at Alden town court where she was released on her own recognizance.
