LOCKPORT – On April 6th, 2023, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Pride Park in Medina, NY, to assist Medina Police with a recovered stolen vehicle that was originally taken in Niagara County. During the course of the investigation, Brett M. Holt, 32 years old, of Medina, was apprehended.
An investigation by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau ensued and it was discovered that Holt was also responsible for two residential burglaries earlier on April 6th, in the Town of Lockport. Holt was arrested on two counts of Burglary 2nd (C felony), two counts of Grand Larceny 4th (E felony) and one count of Grand Larceny 3rd (D felony). He was transported to the Niagara County Correctional Facility and arraigned through Centralized Arraignment, where he was held on $22,500 cash bail.
