On July 9, 2022, Troopers out of SP Boston arrested Byron M. Bowen., 53, of Buffalo, NY, for Driving While Intoxicated.
During a traffic stop on State Route 5 in the city of Buffalo, Bowen was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Bowen had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. Bowen had failed standardized field sobriety tests. He was arrested and transported to SP Elma, where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.12% BAC. Bowen was released with appearance tickets for the city of Buffalo court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
