On June 2nd, 2022, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Darrah Lopez-Chapman, 27, for Burglary 2nd Degree, Aggravated Harassment 2nd Degree and Harassment 2nd Degree. 

The Troopers responded to a residence in Kennedy for a report of a burglary in progress. Investigation revealed that Lopez-Chapman entered the victim’s home without invitation, struck the victim and pulled her hair, then fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim suffered minor injuries from the attack. The victim had also received threatening messages from Lopez-Chapman the two days prior to this incident. Lopez-Chapman was located in Falconer by Ellicott Police officers, placed under arrest and turned over to the Troopers. Lopez-Chapman was then processed at SP Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
