On May 30th, 2022, New York State Troopers arrested Danika Lemay, 42, of Dunkirk, for Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree, False Personation and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

A vehicle in which Lemay was a passenger was pulled over on Bennett Road in Fredonia because Lemay wasn’t wearing her seatbelt.  During the traffic stop, Lemay provided the Troopers with a false identity, attempted to flee when she was advised that she was under arrest, and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Lemay was transported to SP Fredonia for processing where she was found to be in possession of more methamphetamine and heroin. After processing, Lemay was issued appearance tickets directing her to appear in the town of Pomfret Court on a later date. Lemay was then turned over to the Chautauqua County Sheriff Department on outstanding warrants.
