Ten people are reportedly dead following a mass shooting this afternoon at a Tops Friendly Markets on Jefferson Street.
According to law enforcement officials, a gunman sporting a rifle and body armor opened fire, killing at least 10 people before being taken into custody.
Investigators believe the shooting may have been livestreamed over the internet and may have posted a manifesto online, but have not stated a motive, despite many online referring to the shooting — by a while male in a black neighborhood — as a hate crime.
