On March 30th, 2022, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Kain Johnson, 20, of Gerry, for Driving While Impaired by Drugs. 

Johnson was pulled over for traffic violations on Route 60 in Gerry. Johnson displayed signs indicative of drug impairment and was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs. Johnson was transported to SP Jamestown and evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of drugs. Johnson provided a blood sample at UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown. Johnson was then transported back to SP Jamestown, processed, and released with tickets. Johnson is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry Court on a later date.
