On March 2nd, 2022, New York State Troopers arrested Joseph Corsaro, 37, of Silver Creek, for Felony Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.
Corsaro was pulled over on McAllister Road in Fredonia for a traffic violation and after failing several SFSTs, Corsaro was placed under arrest. Corsaro was transported to SP Fredonia where he was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be impaired by drugs. As Corsaro’s driving record revealed a conviction for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs within the preceding 10 years, the charge was upgraded to a felony. Corsaro provided a blood sample at Brooks Memorial Hospital and was later processed at SP Fredonia. Corsaro was released with traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Pomfret Court later in the month.
