On February 11, 2022, at 4:28 pm, Troopers out of SP Alden arrested Reuben I. Hampton, 18 of Buffalo, NY for criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th degree D felony.
On February 11, 2022, Troopers out of SP Alden stopped Hampton on the I 190 in Grand Island for a traffic infraction. Hampton was placed under arrest after an active warrant from Niagara Falls Police Department was detected. While detaining Hampton a clear baggy of a white powdery substance was located. Hampton was transported to SP Grand Island for processing. Hampton was given an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Grand Island court for February 23, 2022.
Hampton was turned over to Niagara Falls Police Department for the active warrant.
