On February 1, 2022, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Jamestown arrested Patrick W. McLaughlin, 72 of Ellicott, NY for Public Lewdness 1st degree, Public Lewdness and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
On February 1, 2022, the New York State Police – Bureau of Criminal Investigation was contacted by the town of Ellicott Police Department for a criminal investigation. The Ellicott Police Department was investigating a criminal complaint and after further review, turned the case over to the NYSP. After consultation with the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office, McLaughlin was arrested and issued Appearance Tickets made returnable in the town of Ellicott Court later in February 2022.
