On March 11, 2021, New York State Police Members from SP Clarence conducted an underage drinking enforcement detail at 17 area establishments in the Town of Clarence, Amherst and Cheektowaga along with the Village of Depew that resulted in 2 arrests. The following subjects were arrested under the New York Alcoholic Beverage Control Law Section 65, Prohibited sale to a person under the age of 21.
Samuel W. Fligger, 40, of Lockport, an employee of the Premier Wine & Spirits located at 7980 Transit Rd., Town of Amherst. is scheduled to appear in the Town of Amherst Court at a later date.
Glenn R. Herrnreiter, 60, of Bowmansville, an employee of the Village Liquor Store located at 6346 Transit Rd., Village of Depew, is scheduled to appear in the Village of Depew Court at a later date.
